Sami-Sabinsa Group Recognized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for Best Portfolios of Patents and Trademarks at Intellectual Property Awards

Sami-Sabinsa Group, a pioneer and global leader in health science was honored with the Best Patent Portfolio award in SME (Life Science and Pharma) and Best Trademark Portfolio in SME (Life Science and Pharma) at CII Industrial Intellectual Property Awards held virtually on December 18, 2020. CII Industrial Intellectual Property (IP) Award is the recognition and celebration of Indian enterprises which have embraced IP generation and protection to fuel their economic growth and lend a hand towards the country’s economic progress. The purpose of these awards is to encourage organizations to foster a culture of IP and its commercialization, bring the achievements of enterprises in public domain, set up linkages with academic and research institutions in India and abroad, inform the government about IP-driven enterprises and engage such enterprises in policy making exercises. “These awards are a recognition of the pioneering work accomplished in the IP domain by the Sami-Sabinsa team.” said Dr. Muhammed Majeed, Founder and Chairman, Sami-Sabinsa Group. “With research at the core of everything we do, Sami-Sabinsa continues to develop innovative, patented nutraceutical and cosmeceutical products for our clients globally.”

ASSOCHAM honours Sami-Sabinsa Group with three prestigious awards

Sami-Sabinsa Group was honored with three awards by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) at the 3rd edition of their Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care Awards held in New Delhi today. ASSOCHAM acknowledged Sami-Sabinsa Group’s Founder & Chairman, Dr. Muhammed Majeed, for his immense contribution towards shaping the Indian Cosmeceutical industry by presenting him with the ‘Legend of Natural Cosmeceuticals’ award. In addition, the Group received accolades for ‘Best Personal Care Product of the Year 2020’ for its premium beauty product - Johara® Turmeric Bath Soap and ‘Best Cosmetic Ingredient Manufacturer of the Year’ for Sami Labs Limited. Sami-Sabinsa Group, a pioneer and global leader in health science and nutraceuticals won the ‘Best Nutraceutical Company’ award at World Health & Wellness Congress & Awards held at Mumbai on February 14, 2020. Mr. Anand Kumar, CEO, Sami Direct, received the award from Dr. Sanjay Muthal, CEO, Kontempore Leadership Solutions and Services and Dr. Tarita Shankar, Chairperson, Indira Group of Institutes.
